Breaking Barriers: The Next Evolution in Wind Reading
-
The Problem
For too long, shooters have relied on guesswork to read wind. Mirage, trees, and feel only tell part of the story. Traditional wind meters fall short, measuring wind at the shooter’s position—not downrange where it matters. Shifting conditions cost points, matches, and confidence. It’s time for a real solution
-
The Breakthrough
Introducing the world’s first wind reading system, designed to measure wind where it affects your bullet—not just where you stand. Using advanced real-time data, it eliminates the uncertainty of long-range shooting. No more estimations, just precise corrections that give you total control over every shot
-
The Impact
Master the wind. Own the shot. Whether you’re a competitor, professional, or tactical shooter, this changes everything. With real-time wind data, you can shoot smarter, win more, and trust every correction. Say goodbye to uncertainty and hello to the future of precision shooting.

Wind Meters
The Meters Page is the core of Wind Zero’s live data capture system. This is where you can view, record, and export wind data collected from your connected Wind Zero meters in real time. It is ideal for both live training analysis and post-session review.
Instantaneous wind meter data is displayed at the top in a row of circular indicators. The arrow acts like a wind sock and indicates wind direction. It is filled based on the ratio of the cross wind speed to the maximum wind speed, giving you a quick visual indicator of how strong the wind is. The hatched area on the arrow shows the crosswind component — that portion of the wind affecting your bullet's left/right path.
Past data is displayed in three trend charts directly below:
- Wind Direction (measured in degrees)
- Wind Speed (MPH or m/s)
- Crosswind Value (MPH or m/s)
-
Wind Drift
The Drift Page is where all of your ballistic data, environmental conditions, and live wind inputs come together to produce real-time hold corrections. This page is the core of your decision-making system — whether you're dialing elevation/windage or holding off — and it allows you to both view and override
data in real time. The wind drift calculations use advanced ballistics computations, including optional factors like Coriolis effect, aerodynamic jump, and spin drift. It also includes the capability to model different wind zones and the ability to assign a wind meter to each.
-
Profiles
The Profile section lets you define your bullet characteristics, ballistic parameters and environmental conditions, — all of which help the app accurately
calculate wind holds and drift values shown on the Drift page. -
Real Time Conditions
Experience wind like never before. Getreal-time wind datafrom multiple locations on the range, giving you a complete picture of shifting conditions. See how actual wind speed and direction compare to flags, and train your eye to read the wind withunmatched precision.
